FAQ
What happens if it rains the day of my session?
A. If a session cannot take place due to inclement weather, we will hope to reschedule. In the event rescheduling is not an option, a refund will be issued (less the deposit).
Will you bring props to the session?
A. Blankets and a few props (a cute chair, a crate, etc.) are provided at every session. Clients are welcome to bring their own items as well. Newborn sessions include wraps, headbands, hats, and posing blankets.
I am worried my child will not cooperate for photos. What should I do?
A. Tell them they are coming to play with me! Keep the expectations simple and casual. It is extremely important to me that your child feels safe and comfortable and does not feel pressured to do anything they don't want to. If your child appears timid or nervous, I will start the session by casually playing or talking with him/her. I will do my best to connect with your child on his/her level, and we will keep the session light and playful. Do not worry if your child isn't looking at the camera or smiling right away... we will get there eventually if we keep things low key.
If your child has a favorite toy or topic that would help me better connect with him/her, fill me in! I have done many sessions with Paw Patrol figures attached to my lens or dinosaur stickers hiding along a trail, waiting to be found! We will work together to make this fun and relaxing for your and your child.
Do I have to order prints through you?
A. No, but remember- there is a vast difference in quality between a professional print lab and a consumer print lab such as Shutterfly. Your investment in professional photography should be protected by purchasing high-quality professionally printed photographs and products that will become beautiful works of art in your home.
